Brownsea Island Trading Post offers unique, handcrafted items such as neckerchiefs and cloth with bespoke designs inspired by the island's natural beauty. The Brownsea Island Scout and Guide Heritage Trust manages the island and its facilities, including a visitor center and museum that showcase the island's rich history. Visitors are unable to camp or stay overnight on the island due to conservation efforts. However, 113 years ago this August, the first scout summer camp took place on Brownsea Island, marking an important milestone in the islands history and the development of the scouting movement.
